The committee of Ferry Road Nursery are an important and essential part of the provision! Our committee is formed of volunteers who are passionate about the delivery of excellent childcare and service to our families and are committed to supporting the staff to achieve the highest standards.
The committee meets monthly to discuss matters arising with regards to finances, health and safety, policy reviews, staffing, fundraiser etc. As a charity, we are constantly striving to host creative and fun events to generate additional funds to support the ongoing development of the nursery and staff, providing new resources and maintaining a safe and user-friendly space.
We are constantly looking for people to offer time to support the committee either as a dedicated member, attending regular meetings and having an input in decisions and discussions or as a volunteer to support individual fundraising events. Everyone has unique skills to offer and there are never too many skills to utilise!
